Alexander Wang and Dree HemingwayAlexander Wang and Dree Hemingway

Society sirens Daphne Guinness and Dree Hemingway were the +1’s of the top-billed stars of the fashion industry’s Oscars. The annual awards ceremony of the Council of Fashion Designers of America was held at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center.

Style icon Daphne, daughter of the third Lord Moyne and former wife of Greek shipping heir Spyros Niarchos, accompanied Jack McCollough andLazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler, who were honored by their peers as accessory designers of the year. Model Dree, great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, came on the arm of Alexander Wang, who was vested that evening with the Swarovski Award for emerging talent in women’s wear.

Fashionable members of the Park Avenue set, including Tory Burch, Dylan Lauren, and Julie Macklowe attended the joyous fête on their own accord. The socialites split their post-CFDA time between Lisa Maria Falcone’s celebration of the opening of the High Line and Chloë Sevigny’s private shindig at The Jane.
