Architectural designer Eric Cohler designed this beautiful Park Avenue apartment for his mother. After deciding to downsize, and owning a stunning collection of folk, Native American, and pre-Columbian art and New Mexican santos, Cohler's mother called on her son to help design her new home.
Cohler renovated the home and made the apartment age-friendly, leaving a space for an elevator, and adding a kitchenette on the second floor. This makes it possible for his mother to have everything she needs available on one floor as she ages.
I have always admired Cohler's talent for showcasing art and antiques. ENJOY!
